BORN TO SUFFER
While searching for the meaning of life,
I stumbled and fell into a pit of strife.
There, I found venomous snakes and spiders.
Bankruptcy, disease, and poison cider.
Not only was there no way out,
no one heard me scream and shout.
Some say I had dug my own grave,
and no one knew that I needed saved.
Then finally, I just rotted away...
the natural course having it's say.
With hope that in another life I'll win,
and somehow slay those dragons of sin.
