United we stand
is a phrase we've been fed,
to keep us in line
as we lay down to bed.
The forces that be
keep us divided --
while we stand silent,
confused and undecided.
Disconnected by race
while our politics divides,
classified by wealth --
the separation it provides.
Unity of spirit
is greater than one
the meeting of minds
should not be undone.
Denying our freedoms
destroys who we are,
our faltering beliefs
wound and scar.
Playing to our fear
talking us down,
waving the flag
donning the crown.
We'll never forget
the days that we cried,
but the Union is fractured
our existence lacks pride.
By forgoing the morals

condoning the behavior

Have you ever been to Toronto? I think they kinda have it figured out. Like the way the culture and values are sent up are truly separate but equal. They even just established a Middle East museum. And the art in the city is amazing. Let's all jump to Toronto! lol

This IS where we are, isn't it! And being divided in our case means being potentially dangerous to each other....it scares me.
