LIFE and DEATH…
Life and death
are inexplicably linked
without one another
neither would exist
they couldn't seem more different
opposites defined
but like it or not
they are forever intertwined
the meaning of life
every last breath
confounds us all, could
the answer lie in death
"Die before you die."
the birth of a child
as another dies
the laughter of a mother
while another cries
surrendering the ego
the world of me, me, me
may be our only chance
if where ever just to be
shattering the illusion
that prevents us from seeing
the only way to really live
is by just being
"Every man dies, not every man really lives."
we all are connected
just like the air
to the sanctity of life
if we choose to be aware
to love to the fullest
forgive somehow
to live in the moment
be Here and Now
our time in this world
is not infinite
the preciousness of each breath
will inevitably quit
to acquire the art of living
we must first learn how to die
to do more than just exist
we cannot just stand by
life and death
are --
closer than you think…
P.S.,
The two quotes are not mine…
The first quote is from the Prophet Muhammad
The second quote is from William Wallace (Braveheart)

CHEERS!
Man's nature is not essentially evil. Brute nature has been known to yield to the influence of love. You must never despair of human nature.
- Mahatma Gandhi
