EMBRACING YOUR DESTINY…
Embracing your destiny
searching your soul,
is a life long endeavor
but who's in control…
Creating a world
on which you bestow,
the gifts you possess --
you reap what you sow.
Standing on the edge
not fearing the fall,
facing down demons
still hearing it call.
Struggling to reach
but out of our grasp,
with thoughts of a future
forgoing the past.
Pushing the envelope
stretching the bounds,
starring down death
and the pain it surrounds.
Fulfilling the dreams
granted by fate --
takes courage and valor
make no mistake.
The laws of the universe
demand nothing less,
conquering your sorrows
with skill and finesse.
Virtue and vice
tempt your desire,
inflicting it's poison
to all you aspire.
Cloaked in disguises
built of deception,
despised by the truth
invading your perception.
Engraved in your blood
written in the stars,
immortal by nature
leaving only scars.
Embroiled in the heavens
feeling the strain,
praying for guidance
met with heartache and pain.
Walking this path
chosen by few..,
It's not up to them
it's all on you.
Living for the moment
not regretting the past,
embracing your destiny
is all that will last...
