DRUNKEN HOLIDAYS…
Drunken with joy
this time of year,
gets a little obnoxious
seeing all that cheer...
The songs that are sung
by carolers all day…
Someone should just --
run them down with a sleigh.
Dancing and prancing
wearing a red hat,
dressing like Santa --
all jolly and fat.
Buying all that bullshit
cooking all that crap,
when what they deserve
is a really good slap.
Hanging up stockings
decorating the tree,
now off to the mall --
another shopping spree.
Sucking down egg nog
falling in the snow,
assaulted by relatives --
damn that mistletoe.
Chowing those rum balls
hoping for a buzz,
driving home drunk
like everyone does.
Christmas is grueling
all that love.., and reindeer,
thank god uncle Bob --
bought all that good beer.
There's just so much stress
this "happy" time of year,
enough is enough --
with all that good cheer.
So during the holidays
when struggling to function,
always remember --
…your better off drunken!
