happy thoughts; there is a drought
in my mind and in my heart.
to this day creating art
is redemption in my eyes.
i await my own demise
with excitement and love for
what's to come. i wage no war
on the idea of death.
to lay still or take a breath
is to co-exist with all.
both are bitter sweet and fall
under what i call virdama.
i see past the melodrama,
don't indentify with it,
take note of the all and sit
out with mother earth; we talk.
barefoot is the only walk
through the blades of vegetation.
sparking my imagination,
i inhale the greenery;
get lost in the scenery.
