inflation
and then i am reminded of how we used to play.
like a careless child that enjoys our smile,
i fell in love with an endless mile.
and upon arrival at my new destination,
an abandoned train station of improvisation,
i felt both at home and homesick, simultaneously.
but with time inflation took its place,
and thus i drowned in droplets of blood,
which oozed out of past's mouth.
Luca, you are truly a wonderful poet! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me. Your every word is a piece of pearl that shines in a poetic chaplet. I just loved the way you fashion your poems. I don't wanna miss any of your next poems. I guess you'll be seeing me a lot from now on 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading! With time and a lot of experimenting, I think, at least for now, I have found my style in poetry. Once again thank you! More poetry coming soon!
