Make-up ~ The devil

Who is that masked behind the cosmetics?
Behind the mask of insecurities

The devil has overpowered, the innocent face.
That was once overlaid with freckles.

It powers your life,
Makes you think you can't embrace the world without it.

Buries itself into your skin
Taking over your natural glow
Haunts your pure facial structure
Masks your unique imperfections
Getting you dependent on it.

Like its a God
So heavenly, perfectly laying on your face
Camouflaging your insecurities
Masking them with securities
