Abyss

I feel like there is an abyss between us…
I see you on the other side like you want help
But at the same time… you like to be alone in your solitude
Between us I see a bridge that connects me to you
I give one step forward and you one backwards

The abyss increase and my heart jumps
My eyes cannot see thee with such clarity
I don't know if you want to throw yourself into the abyss
Or see me falling trying to cross the bridge
