Stolen Affair

It was within the moment you blinked that your eyes and i got acquainted.

The beginning of the beautiful story yet to unfold we created.

The curves in your body that i could not have overlooked nor negotiated

Led us on this speedy journey down the hill facing obstacles unaided

...................

We flew high above the clouds as we played dead to the tunes of the renegade,

Dancing to the music of deafening sounds from the beat of drums as exploding grenades;

Blowing up the past we lost to the heat of desire when kissing your lips became an accolade.

All i see are stars in your eyes, hidden smiles, and rivers of tears behind the masquerade

I hate to be the only one to notice the ties between us had been violated.

From royalty to rags, my throne in your world has now been abdicated.

Shooting with difficulty the things I cannot fathom but have capsulated

In this gun i hold in my mind as a dilemma, thus pain instigated

......................

I'm stuck in between the heart that fell and the mind that stayed..

For the times that were fought for and the moments that were gained;

The games we played just to prove Einstein existed and the emotions we feigned.

To the flames within our hearts that failed to consume the judges in our brains...

What we had was really pretty but all i live with now is a tragedy.

Counting the days as they pass by while reading the time like a b c d..

The bullets i shoot just have a way to make void its trajectory.

I'm high above the clouds into the space of time singing about our Insanity.

The new world you found yourself in gradually stealing you away.

Saw this to happen but I can't be happy or sad it delayed.

You are several oceans away from this place we used to play.

Living in a civilization years apart from the world you left me enslaved.
