I like your poem and I agree with the message! I think there is some randomness in the post rewards, at least when a person first gets here. But I think that those who stick around and work on their writing here are likely to eventually get noticed. And the best attitude, in my opinion, is to come here to get your thoughts out into the world permanently on the blockchain, and don't think about the rewards. Writing can be its own reward.
