Hurting In Love (An Original Poem)
When I asked for honesty
Excuses and lies is what I got
When I wanted to trust you
Your betrayal was caught
When I tried to heal
You gave me another scar
When I sought peace
You wanted to declare war
We can't be together
The love we had is gone
Our memories will be treasured
But life has to move on
Let's learn to live with the pain
It's time to bury our sorrow
We've to look past our past
And move onto a better tomorrow
Honesty is one of the pillars of any relationship. Trust once broken is not easily repaired. Some people value the more important relationships in their lives, nurturing those relationships and bonds with more time, effort and attention. On the other hand, some treat relationships too lightly till it becomes too late to repair the damage that's been done. We sometimes realize certain relationships do more harm than good, and they are not meant to be. It's wise to move on than to constantly feel the pain and hurt of being in a loveless bond with a person who certainly does not value your presence as much as you value theirs.

To move on is a must.
A path we all take, when broken and betrayed.
But what you loved, you will always love .
What you stop loving is what you never loved.
Accept the joy or pain.
