I am a bug under the fridge
staring at the light of the kitchen sink
My dendrites snap and crackle
catch fire and baffle me with weird sensations

I am a mechanical being in a world of flesh
I am an outsider looking in
Trapped in my miserable conditions
under my solitude I cave in.

The light flickers, I went too far
Now all I see is the morning paper
coming down like a guillotine
To end my suffering for good
