Save The Trees !!

A new promise,
The marvellous word ‘new’,
Nothing remains old now,
Everything is new.
Welcoming warmly a new year,
Dusting off all dirt from our minds,
Let’s start a new year
With a new hope, new goal,
A new chapter of life.
Despite all the merriment of
Welcoming the year,
It seems to be old somewhere.
There are no dazzling celebrations
In the eyes of those,
Whose lives mean only to work
To have their plates full,
Those who don’t even know
The actual meaning of life,
Those whose playtime has been cut off.
Yes, they are children, but labourers.
Like all, they have the wish to play,
They also dream of going to school,
But they are like prisoners.
Though they wish to be successful in life,
Time seems to be cruel to them.
But we cannot let it happen anymore.
Let’s raise our voices
Against the torture upon these innocents.
Stop playing with the emotions of children,
Set them free.
Let’s make a promise
This new year,
The promise to create awareness
Against child labour and abuse,
And give new life to hundreds of children.
Stop child abuse.
Let them read, let them fly...
