Corporations financing menaces put before us
How can we not see these candidates so porous
Lets make sure we keep electing the same people over and over again
Lets keep moving backward not forward my friend
Poverty shall never end

Lets increase those suffering year after year
Lets make sure most people live in fear
One rich country with so many unhappy
Is this a joke or am I missing something
We are supposed to be the farthest along towards equality
But we place people at a disadvantage so others gain?
Seems more like financial brutality

Heres your debt kid
Have fun paying us back
This is how much you owe us
Every year we add rack on rack
Interest for education
Parents of students debted to the nation
While bombs and planes paid for go unused
I think taxes might be slightly misused

Keeping the poor poor
And the rich really rich
New jet designs preparing for imaginary feuds
Wow military budget
Is that a joke
Spending so much money
Behind an invisible cloak
Harry potter take it back
Let reality be shown to all
That we are spending more and more
Preparing for some mysterious fall

Its over take off the mask

The rich just sit back and bask
