LOST IN THE MEADOW (An Original Poetry)

There were once foreign lands,
where the kidney is food,
and the heart is roasted as meal,
we were like roaches,
perceiving death's redolence
as it approaches,
like a long awaited bride,
attracted to it's simmers
like the body calling for lust.
Lost in the Meadow,
carried away by life's current,
replacing love with tears,
like lonely pebbles in forlorn shores
staggering like corn seeds in the wind,
unable to kill the moments,
of when we were wrapped in arms,
lips locked and forgetting
the miseries in the world.
Lost in the meadow,
covered by hay and dirt,
writhing in soot and cinder,
bathing in pain,
taunted and haunted,
mind shattered like window panes,
on the hardened rocks,
we live a beautiful death
encompassed by olden desires
Lost in the meadow,
hidden from the sun's fragrance,
like darkness in Alaska,
and brighteness in Brighton,
we're darkened by tenebrous desire
trapped in our nefarious freedom,
like a butterfly caressing a flame.
I'm death in a tea Cup,
with eternity in it's lathers
