IGNITING (An Original Poetry)
Our fiercest foe lies within,
foraging furiously,
feeding on our ignorance like leech,
but even in grumbling chains,
we would ignite,
like three witches chanting in unison
holding the world In ransom,
When the bat's hooting,
clangs against the sturdy walls,
and the night bugs are happy to crawl,
and the Skylarks begins to thrall,
we are igniting like chandeliers,
for in darkness we unite,
like bodies to tombs,
and bees to catacombs
drooling over the clouds,
jettisoned, thoughts in limbo
like an old baby born anew
Life's a raging storm,
that quenches the desire to burn,
candles in millions ready to blaze,
but flowers in battles are bested,
we want to rise like morning dew,
spill sporadically like stew,
on thirsty, yet hungry souls,
we would ignite in the snow,
like an ocean on fire,
bursting through impossibilites
like a sizzling knife through butter
Darkness is the very demon,
that taunts our courage,
smeared in fear like a bowl of porrage,
but in the softest of thoughts
we would levitate like flying feathers
free from soulful burdens,
we would ignite like an infant star,
on a warm fuzzy evening
like a spark of glitters
from the fire place.
Good meaning, good poem
