FUTILITY (An Original Poetry)
The blinking emerald,
sinking the twinkling sunset,
tells forlorn tales
of men swimming in diamonds and pearl,
gathering laces and soles,
but abandoning their souls
in a chase of undying things
a gulp can kill thirst,
but the throat is a bastard
that desires the whole ocean
The flesh is a seeker,
a traveller with curious nostrils,
seeking to feel the other side,
and ride on the crashing waves
diligent, maleficent in manners
we are sojourner without homes,
with limited scents of flowers
warmest smiles to share,
We are chimera,
drawn to reflections and shadows
a tint of glass cutting through,
the tinniest of imaginations
coruscating through the mind,
a light, a wealth consciousness
a dazzling spark of treasure,
hidden deepest In abyss unseen
planting greed like a seed
life is a market,
we're commodities on display,
but we're building eternity,
for the fragile fragments of our body,
awaiting decay's inevitability
soon, the moon won't bloom
and we'd lie barest on hardened floors
without apparels, a scent of myrrh
and a perfumed body
