BRIDAL SHOWERS ( An Original Poetry)
Image source: Luxurious Wedding – fashion dresses
Arms in arms, locked in psalms
knotted loosely in ribbons
spiral waves of red
flying aimlessly above the pew
auburn smiles like two fools in a pool
hymneal vows splitting the silence
renting the air in sonorous songs
spiritually binding, soul seeking
eyes intertwining like a chapel on fire
beautiful beyond the perceptions
Floret, sepals and petals
littering the aisle
dazzling sunset coruscating
on our faces stood joy radiating
the moments slowly becoming minutes
and minutes became hours,
our bridal showers stood still
like Joshua we set still the sunset
obliterating the cacophonous jibbering
to listen to the thudding of our heart
as it gallops like two stallion throttling
A billion butterfly,
beautifully genuflecting,
making obeisance,
like the moonlight sensually reflecting
flashing and glittering of dental
a sparkle that suggests happiness
as we slip into the mind's
Comfort zone
basking in reveries
thoughts alive in libido
a fine reflection of a beautiful limbo
we're were wonderfully welcomed.
The bells will tow
a deafening bellow
a marital harmony
lips finally locked away
tingling taste as the crowd approves
with a billion cheers
wailing voices agog in glee
whisked away by the priest's urging
into a forever of our own making.
