The way you sway rhythmically to the drums in the wood.
Moving your tender feet on the river bank.
Like a cat tiptoeing on a rope.
The way your smile blink like sun light piercing through the forest

African woman.
Im in love with the coral beads that dangles on your waist.
The perfectly imperfect drawing that serenades your navel.
And the colourful amulets that adorns your fragile arm

African woman.
Im lost in the pattern of the drum beats.
Because you dance like a goddess
with sweet epilepsy.
To the music of the great spirits beyond

African woman.
The perfect and tender damsel of the night.
Shinning like the burning embers of a diamond.
With blackness that makes you see the day

You are sensually adorned.
Like the tree of life.
Wonderfully prepared

African woman.
In the lands of the zambezi.
Down to the river banks of Limpopo
