Advice for kids

I wrote this to a much younger version of me. Due to problems reaching him, I'll post it here. Hope you'll enjoy. Sometime soon I will record the song that this has become with a little help from my friends @resus and @uglycasanova - and post that as well.

Hey little boy, if you're keen to learn
I'll give you some advice that I have earned
through my life so far

You have no idea what's ahead of you
but you've got dreams, that's good,
those dreams are coming true

all kinds of shit may happen to you
but a life without problems -

Stay true to yourself
don't think too much
take care of your friends

You'll be dreaming of love
and when love is ready
it's gonna hit you heavy
don't you worry 'bout that

But never push it
Get it?

Be yourself, attract some people
reject some others, don't try to please them
just do what is right and never fight
for things you don't believe in

Stay true to yourself
Don't think too much
Take care of your friends
and remember that life never ends
until it's over
