You Saved Me

This poem I just finished writing a few minutes ago. Again I started out writing a song, but it looks more like a poem. Probably a song could be made of it though.

Here in your embrace
I always feel safe.
I still can’t believe
that you really love me.

Each day I always try
to make you not cry.
And give you the love
you’ve always dreamed of.
--
Darling, I confess
I once was a mess.
Just hoping to find
I’m not losing my mind.
--
But your loved saved me
from something so crazy.
If it wasn’t for you
my life would be through.
--
My life’s no longer blue.
I’m devoted to you.
For the rest of my days
I will love you always.
