Buzzed
This is another one of my poems that I'm pretty proud of. Again, I had no idea where it would end when I started. Each line just continued to feed into the next.

I was sitting at my computer quiet and alone
Not bothering anyone, just minding my own
–
Then a fly started buzzing around my head
I tried to shoo it away, Leave me alone I said
–
It continued to pester me, even flew into my ear
For that I said, you will have to pay dear
–
That fly had to die so I devised a plan
I got the fly swatter, but it just wouldn’t land
–
It continued to buzz and fly just out of reach
By now I had to kill that son of a beach
–
I wanted so bad to get it out of my place
If it landed on my nose I’d slam an iron in my face
–
I got the can that was full of bug spray
I said now fly you will be having a really bad day
–
When it buzzed again, I sprayed its ass
It flew into the wall and hit the floor with a crash
–
I thumped my chest and yelled I am the man
Then another fly buzzed by and we started again
--

Ha! That was a great one! Man, you really have a way with words. I was entertained all the way through to the end. You had me rooting for you in your quest to vanquish the flies haha!
I see that you're posting quite rapidly. Old Minnow tip: space your posts out to give them all a chance to earn better and have more visibility. No one would be expending all their voting power on just one user for the day, so if you post at most two times in the span of a few hours, they would have a better shot than posting in the span of a few minutes. Voting takes time to recharge, and the less voting power percentage a person has the less his/her votes are worth. Just my two cents, even though my vote here was worth eight ;)

Thanks for the posting tip. So if I post only twice in 3 hours, it should be fine? Maybe 1 post every 1 1/2 hours? Thanks for the 8. I think I'm still at .01. In the last 4 weeks, with a lot of effort on my part, my Voting Power has tripled. I'm hoping to triple again by the beginning of next year.
When I'm at 100% my votes are worth almost 0.3 I think. I bet it's a true story, those always make for great inspiration!
With regard to posting, it all depends on your strategy. Personally, I usually post just one a day, and I don't even post daily. That way, I don't drive off my frequent voters. But, that's just me. You'll find what works for you eventually. I just laid out possibilities why voting for people who post multiple times a day isn't that sustainable.
Now if I can just remember to do 1 or 2 a day. I repost some older stuff now that I have more followers and understand Steem better. I just posted another one on my site that is also a true story: My Sister's Hero. I forgot and put 2 close to each other again, but I'll try to remember to stop doing that, starting tomorrow.
