The Ledge --- Steem original poetry/spokenword

Standing in a beautiful forest near mountains and a steep river canyon one step from the ledge.
I cannot step back and I am one step from the precipice.
If I stare down at the raging water continually in fear of stumbling to my doom
What kind of life is that?
Rather if I look ahead at the mountains or see beauty in the motion of the rivers water or glance back at the evergreen forest more often than fearfully looking down.
Then what kind of life is that?
