"Moonlight Idyll"
I’ve seen the moonlight shining, its light is
Pure and Cold. With beauty filled radiance,
Its orb doth gaze, on lovers shy and bold.
♥
Shadows it casts, all stark and foreboding,
Though the brave may find safety there hiding.
Adventures or escapades, lovers trysts;
Moonlight sees all, whether clear skies or mist.
☆
Should we emulate the cold hearted orb?
Embrace the darkness with star twinkling lore?
Or, best we be served, loves warm sunlight glow?
Hearts can embrace light, both warm and pure cold.
‘Tis better than darkness; downfall of old.
Give forth the heart light, let glad songs ring out!
Make clamorous noises, Loves Joyous shouts!
