NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORP......DONE AND DUSTED!!

I sat down on the stairs and starred.
They jubilated like a medal just got won.
Everyone wanted to have the brightest smile as they posed to the camera.
From this angle they appeared as a punch of dry leaves been blown away by the wind.

It's worth celebrating of cause.
365 days of loyal service to this country.
The clarion call fully obeyed.
The annoying early morning rise and parade.
The trainings and awesome activities.
Oh maami market!

It's all over
What lies ahead?
Where do we go from here?
Will the smile remain on all these faces when they wake up tomorrow?
What expectations do they have?
How ready are they to meet the labour market?
Will all their needs be met?
How rewarding is the certificate held?
What will they become?
Where do they belong?

If they are just thinking of that now they are wrong!!!
Too late to cry.
It's a brainstorm that should have been held far back in school.
The preparation for the world out there doesn't start today.

I am all buckled up.
I have been ready since day one.
I am not limited to the status of my country.
The government has no hold of my present.
Congratulations to me as i drop my boot.
NYSC just got served.
My success story is booming.
