Broken trust

Just as time began,
so trust was built.
It grew like the flowers,
with petals so cool.

Beautiful was the scenery,
The smell made me want to stay.
It flourished and blew my mind away,
Like the soothing breeze under the moon light.

As the clock ticked,
It gradually took the gel away.
I was stuck in the confusion of reality,
It became vague what was going on.

I thought times like this don't exist,
My heart seemed empty.
I was taken to the apex and dropped,
Trust is broken.
