I Scream Inside - A POEM
I scream inside
for the hopeless
and helpless
the homeless
and lost.
I scream inside
at the leaders
and followers
the shepherds
and sheep.
I scream inside
at the bills
and the laws
the charades
and the lies.
I scream inside
at the fakes
and the phonies
and the people
with power.
I scream inside
for a world
in decay
and morality
crumbling.
I scream inside
till my heart
is raw
and my soul
is hoarse.
I scream inside
and outside
I am numb
I am guilty
of do nothing.
I scream inside
at myself
and my lack
of action
against what
makes me scream inside.
I especially liked the raw heart and hoarse soul lines.
