In my youth
I was alike Romeo

So easily entranced
By the looks of a women

Is it fair for a man?
How can we resist that...
That being that takes a physical form
Much more pleasing on the eye
Then that of my own

But is she pure of heart?
Will she care for me?
My children?

Will she mother them
Like how my mother
Mothered me

I need to know
Before I band the women I love

I have "loved"
Women I do not love

Love isnt romance
True Love is like eternal friendship

Do you feel betrayed by any?
Any people you love?

Love is uneasy
So I know now

I "play it cool"
If she wish to lay beside me
I let her

If she wish to go
I ask why
I ask her to stay
If she still wish to go
I let her

This is not another love poem
It isnt about love
It is about the realization
That you are not two people

You are your own person
On your own journey

Looking for another to share it with
that is all

To Love and to be in love
Are indeed different

To brake the ice
But what of sex?

Sex isnt love
Sex is humor

What of sex
If two people are in love?
Well that isnt sex or love
But in some cases
It is conception

Love
What a lovely word
It is in the air
Isnt it?

Cupid cannot affect me
No Longer
I am immune to the poison
Upon the tip of his arrow

I am older at heart
stronger to
To strong to fall for a women I hardly know

It is said
I am not in love
