Feeling older...

That time will come,
That we'll feel we're getting older.
We'll ask ourselves,
"What was it that I've done for the past few years?"
"Was it satisfying?"
"What are my accomplishments?"
We're they worth those precious times?

When we get older,
Sometimes...
We'll feel lonely,
Thinking nobody cares.
We think no one understands,
And that, you're out of place.

Cannot blend in with conversations,
And nobody listens at all,
All those sentiments,
We're kept hidden and on hold.

When we get older,
Sometimes...
We'll feel too sensitive.
Got hurt by the little things,
Our mind can often not be at ease.

Even so..,
When we get older...
Sometimes...
We'll reminisce beautiful memories
The feeling of loving and being loved.
The feeling of excitement to all the journey that we had.
All the laughs that seem like a melody,
Will keep playing over and over again, inside our minds.
We forgot a lot of things,
But we remember those beautiful color we painted in life.

And when we see the little ones,
Smiling and enjoying life,
We get to see a little mirror of ourselves.
