Steemit Poetry Contest #9 - The Spirit
In search of warmth and bread
The snow lay cold on his feet
The wind blew cool his head
Exchanging gifts and songs
Then joins in the jubilee
And finds that he belongs
With gifts and songs to spare
Then sees another lonely soul
And now it's time to share

Advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! The end of this year would be one of better days I had recently. I'm really grateful for discovering Steemit. In some ways, it has redeemed my 2017 as a whole. I look forward to more time here and onwards.
Let us always remember that the spirit of Christmas is a spirit of giving! God Bless us all!
