We all have memories from the past that has helped reform our future. Well, here is a little something to remind you that it is alright to say farewell to your past and to not forget to enjoy your present because this will birth your future. Enjoy.........

Even though it has helped to modify my existence
Into my present ambience
In which the world can see now.
It became a gentle reminder to me
Whenever I plan to take a step
Sounded silly like I was exaggerating
To anyone that dares to listen
Here I stand in my present
On a journey to a presumed future
With so many lessons carried over from the past
To reshape me to be a better version of myself.
Thanks for the wonderful memories
That I have learnt to live with
Yes I'm grateful instead of complaining
Because this journey wouldn't have been real without my past

The past are there to form something called history but when it strokes us down then it should be cut off.
