I fear it every day
You have given me no reason not to,
Like clockwork this demon greets me
Depression, anxiety, anger are felt to name a few
But I'm a faithful man and will not waiver
Do you have any idea the damage this does?
Day in & day out I have to be strong
Even when I feel you are the one in the wrong
We could be so happy despite life's troubles
The more I support you the more I get pushed away,
Can you not see I'm here for you
Despite this demon of yours leading us astray
Stop this behaviour please I beg you
It's killing me inside little by little
Look at my heart for crying out loud
It has become so brittle!
