The Time for 'Kings' and 'Queens' has Passed

The time for 'Kings' and 'Queens' has passed,
and to think you preside over anyone... you're an ass.
The people have selected the new mould to be cast,
while fire steals the wind from the maritime mast.

Wild are the Jokers, and high are the Aces,
and while the self-selected rulers hide in underground bases
we revel the look that falls upon their faces
as we deny them consent to the division among the races.

Your lust for money and power will undo your reign,
as the cover up of your sins becomes harder to maintain.
If your hearts were true and not buried in the arcane,
you might be capable of real emotion instead of having to feign.

There's a reason you feel empty as you stack the decks...
It's because you pay the Deceiver all of your respects.
You'll not be truly free in this life or the next,
so you're urged to repent at the conclusion of this text.
