singular

singular experience. one single, grand picture.
there are so many people out there in search of that.
one ultimate goal, one ultimate truth.
you throw your head, heart and soul into it.
the only question is, is that all you can muster? is that it?
why does one force oneself to accept only one truth?
why can't we accept different truths and work around that?
the more exposed you are to different truths, the closer you are to truth.
let's wade through this life with an open mind and a burning curiosity to learn.

i think as we get older, we become more compassionate. we are more sensitive to others' reactions. we have a little bit of a clue as to how people would feel when you don't meet their expectations. i think that's really nice. disappointments are still going to happen but we are much more in touch with our emotions, even if we're unable to master them (why would you?) it's fucking nice to cry. and to feel alive. to feel human. when's the last time you really poured your heart out?

what is my purpose in life?

i'm not really sure. i want to make you see things.
i want to create a space where people could imagine and live in infinite moments.
those few seconds where you catch a glimpse of eternity, where there is no beginning and no end.
when you can feel the continuity of life, how it has always existed, before you and after you, it will continue to exist. continue to breathe. to respire.

i want to inspire. you. me. her. him. them. us.
let the extraordinary pop, as we dive straight into the nucleus.
i do not want a perfect society, with perfect humans.
what is a perfect human? a robot? an intuitive robot?
what is free will? do we really have free will? or do we think we have free will, and the fact that we've been programmed to think we have free will is evidence that we in fact do not possess free will at all?
so please. trust me. go out there. love someone who won't love you back.
why? because perhaps then, we'll get a little closer to free will. to become irrational beings.
of course, i would want to live with all the neo-paradigm values.
shed away the past with all its injustice, ugliness and lies.
justice. beauty. truth.
yes.
oh.
oops.
did we just get a little dialectical?
perhaps we should be more dialogical.
more listening, more understanding.
rather than assuming, judging.
truths, my friend, truths.

and i mean it.

thanks for this great post. open your mind theres truth inside

Yes as we get older we change from the way we were when we were young. Indeed as you say why does one force oneself to accept only one truth?why can't we accept different truths and work around that?
I see from my experience its moving towards openness to shake off the rigidity of the one truth I spent so much time seeking. Good point well spoken, thanks!

Cheers frank. We share a similar viewpoint, I think that's some cognitive resonance there.

That was a nice, read, I can entirely relate! Sometimes it's very hard to balance everything though!

I'm a writing a novel which touches on the subject you wrote about, it's about a 21st century traveler, but not so much about the travel itself as it is about the what made him travel / how does he try to fit in society afterwards. You can check it here: https://steemit.com/travel/@martibis/when-the-road-calls-1

Really like what you're doing there. Followed ya

Cheers, I appreciate it!

I've followed you too as I'm curious to see your other writings!
