[ORIGINAL POEM] Bless Those Who Curse You

To love when the sun is shining is easy
To bless someone who is nice to you is common
To like someone that likes you is often what we do
To be a good person when you’re happy is not that difficult

But what about when the dark clouds come
When the storm hits and it starts to rain
When pain and misery is all we can see
Who are we then? What are we then?

You must learn to bless those who curse you
Pray for those who hurt you
And forgive, just keep forgiving
Hate and revenge is never the answer
