The Death Row - An Original Poem
With men who go to bed wildly awake
And do not wish to see sunrise
For the hangman may come
For their necks at dawn.
With men who as boys
Became victims of broken homes and marriages
For none was left to show them the way.
With a few innocent men
Who found themselves on the dreadful list
Because of manipulated fingerprints.
And will forever remain so
As long as society believes
That by shedding more blood
The souls of the dead will be avenged.
