In the storm I once was walking
Separate from all the talking
After hearing a news so shocking

Overhead the sky shed tears
After hearing my grief and fears
Warning that my end is near
Of which I was almost sure

Shivering from biting cold
Heart ablaze like molten gold
Suffering from pain untold
