Achilles Heel (Lust and marriage)
ACHILLES HEEL
Racing lap after lap it ceases to relent
Adrenaline and hormones dominate his judgement
Before your essence he prays
Laying his ego underfoot to spill his secrets and repent
Your beauty and grace
Elegantly cuts proud men down
Weak kneed boys lost without hope
They bow after one look upon your radiant face
Achilles had a heel for which he dearly paid
You smile as grown men grovel, begging to hand you their souls
To soak in your tonic, a cure for their lonely heart
Desperate for deep and profound connection he cares not about just getting laid
Prostrate and prone
With head under heel
Conquered and beaten he proudly surrenders
His life is now yours to own
