WHEN I GO I'M GOING
Let the wolf howl
At the full moon cycle
Let the peach darkness prevail
Over the silent land
But when I go, I'm going
Let the heart of the night be cold
As the grass turns dewy
I can hear the crickets
Soothing the night away
But when I go, I'm going
Towards the dawn
The night shall be blurry
Early cockrel shall sound, cock-a-doodle-doo
To punctuate the morning
But when I go, I'm going
Regardless of the possible challenges
Chronic over being the emotional
Especially the moments we shared
Your laughter,your cry,your talk
But when I go, I'm going
I know it's difficult if not impossible
To erase mental pictures of you
The beautiful face equated to the biblical queens
The succulent features, that you allowed me to own
But when i go, am going
wow, excellent writing
thank you!
Nice poem
thanks...
