CHILD OF VOWS(poetry)

I am a child of vows
All that I own
Are journeys full of vows of return_
Everytime I'm leaving home
I race back to my mother's arms
One more hug and all's over
She waves a goodbye kiss
I feel the sky fall upon me
If only I could linger on
You're gone from view
As my journey goes on
I must wait till its over
Remembering your words
At the passing of days
It feels like forever
But I must wait till its over
