Whether to lie or fight
For a place to come into the world.

On crawling
Or perhaps, taking his first steps.

His Dad's or his Mom's.

When he has to decide
Whether to fight his own battles
Or take a coward's badge.

There comes a time

When he has to decide
On telling his best childhood friend
How he was madly in love with her.

There cometh a time
In the life of man
When he has to decide
Where to place his faith.
With God or the man in black.

There cometh a time
In the life of man
When he has to decide
Whom to marry;
A wife or his career?

THE STORY BEHIND THE POEM
Hi guys,
The poem was originally written on the 12th of February, 2016. And ever since it has been edited twice. Firstly by my elder brother just two days after it was written and today by
@tezzmax. I wrote the poem on a lonely afternoon hoping to cover the whole aspect of a man's life and showing through it (the poem) how the little decisions we've made over the years would actually define our entire existence one day.
So please do me the favor of thinking things over before you decide.
Don't make reckless decisions and most importantly help the youngsters around you make the right choices through your wholesome advise an experience.
