Mercy and Grace

Not because I am worth it,
Not because I am good,
Not because I am perfect,
Nor act the way I should,
Not because I have earned it,
Not because I am right.
Just because I am a person
You love with all your might.

It is not in my doing,
But it is in yours.
It is simply your nature
How high your love soars.
I can never repay.
I can never replace.
But that is called mercy,
And the beauty of grace.
