And understood by the favoured initiates.
Poetry lubricates heavy tongues
Facilitates the expression of revered feelings.
And releases thoughts bound by silence.
Poetry heals
Its pleasures warm the forlorn heart
As it arouses our deepest emotions.
Poetry is a window into the soul. It is a combination of words, delivery, emotion, tone all blended together. The end result of the listener/ reader should be emotion. It really cannot be taught... just practiced. It is one of life richest pleasures.
