Your mom has been blessed with not only long life but with good looks as well. She is very pretty. Please extend my belated Happy Birthday greetings to her.
Thank you, I will let her know about your comment and belated birthday wish, tomorrow when I see her. She really enjoy herself last year, it was a big party. I roasted her a pig. This year we kept low key and had a lobster dinner.
In my country a lobster dinner is already a feast in itself. Very very expensive.
Living in New England, we can get it easily and cheaper particularly in the summer. On sale you can get it for 4.99 a pound and if it isn't on sale for $9 or $10 a pound. It is on of Mom's favorite meals.
Now don't that make me green with envy lol. You're very fortunate to be able to buy it at those prices. A pound here will set me back about $25. And they're never ever ever on sale. Chinese restaurants buy them all up so it is always a seller's market : (
I guess I shouldn't tell you that when I went lunch with my Dad and sister today we had Lobster Pie.
You're a meanie, you know that? I don't think I have seen a Lobster Pie in my life, much less eaten one, but it really must taste gooooood. When I go stateside next time, that'll be in my list of things to do. And when I do, you'll surely get to know about it : )
Lobster Pie is chunks of lobster in butter, covered with a butter and bread crumb topping. If you make it the Boston area, I will buy you a lobster pie!
