The $0.00 Poetry Anthology
Have you ever had a post make absolutely no money? I know I have. It can make you question yourself. Even if you thought the material was good the first time around, you can’t help but wonder, why did this one miss the mark so completely?
I’m in favour of a system where all posts are eligible for rewards forever. It would make it possible for the people who join Steemit in 2018, 2019 and beyond to reward the posts they enjoy that might be written today. Think of all the artists whose work only came to prominence after they died!
But that discussion isn’t my main reason for this post. I’d like to present a collection of my favorite zero-$ earners. They’re poems I wrote which I think are pretty good but didn’t quite make their mark on the rewards pool. I'd like you to read them:
1.The Simulator Cycle
We will collide with
Sounds of strange things
Clanging,
Ringing,
Raging in our heads
Like nothing
We have ever heard
Our pores will raise
Hairs stood on end
As currents bathe
Our conciousness
And galaxies
Perish while new ones
Draw breath
Within the simulator cycle
No big bang beginnings
Or ends
2.Sweet Deception
Greed feeds
Behind kind smiles
Just bared teeth
Saying words
Meaning none
Gaming games
Are you having fun?
3.It Fades Away
Sleep, sleep
Dreams Electric,
Soul Eclectic
Leap, Leap
Images of
Id impulses,
Creep, creep
Soon to be
Re-banished to the
Deep, deep
Recesses of my mind
Eyes open, I find
Just what I, awake, define
As me…

I have seen many users on the platform, that for months there is no money made on the platform, however they have not lowered their arms and today are making very good money per day, everything is a matter of time
