"Lost and found candy"

Oh, look!
There's candy
Hidden in your pocket
You forgot it there
Sometime last week
There's air in your lungs
A memory in your locket
A beetle in your ear
Chirping,
"Let it be"
Because it will anyway
Life goes on
Just the same
Let that be your refrain
And when life gets mean
You stay serene
Even with candy coated
Pockets to clean

Thanks for reading! The question is: would finding the candy have been a blessing or a curse? I think that depends on what type of candy it was and if your climate is cold enough to reduce the risk of melting...something to ponder.
