The pain of the mortal man
Everything starts off at the very beginning, a mistake that was never corrected, a man on a quest to surpass love and be the difference for his woman, a woman he so loves dearly and feels he should be perfect for.
In the quest to be perfect, he became worse than imperfect, mistakes made, tempers flared, fangs bared all in the name of love. He loves his woman, but expressions become zero when he aims for a hundred.
She was there from the beginning, he wants her there at the end, no one else but her. Fate is the evil striker who dribbles through his defenses to protect her from the outside. He never wants to stop trying because she was there at the beginning and wants her to be there at the end...no one else but her.
He is but a man, mistakes will surely enter, imperfections will be revealed, but upon this rock...upon her rock, he built his church, a church that defies odd love, a church for two, the man and the woman not the WOMEN.
He loves her more with each passing day and he can see her fire dying off, the flames being extinguished faster than the fuel even sparks the flames.
He has a choice, allow the breaking hearts break or fix what the world thinks can never be fixed. No distance is too much for his love, no distance...he tries despite failing, sure he fails but he gallantly rises with the thought of her being the only befitting price worthy for him.
From the first day he gained consciousness, he loved her, even when he didn't know, the love was always there. He must dare the impossible to fix the mess he created, a choice between the friendship over time or the love worth braving an impossible gambler's tell for.
He is incomplete without her, his muse, his heartbeat, but this is a fight he cannot fight alone, for without her he becomes the messenger who lost a war in search of a horse shoe. He needs her, he needs her fire, a fire which has always helped him brave all odds. The world thinks him weak that way, but he knows with her on his side, he possesses a strength the world strongest man envies.
With each stroke he weeps, willing to trade his soul for a time machine to change all errors, but even the devil won't accept an empty soul, a soul that needs it bind and glue. A man goes so far without his woman and gets stuck because when minds meld and souls join, separation means then end of what was thought to be the beginning.
Ponder on these words as he ponders because not everyone gets a second chance, multiple strike and it's game over. A man, a god, but what demi god can't figure himself out. Let the world laugh, let them bicker like clueless and hormone driven teenagers, his woman is all he wants. Break the rules and get his queen is all he dreams.

Sometimes, in our desire to give a 100% we cross the line and achieve the opposite of what we intended. Love is something that has the ability to sweep us off our feet.
