~Magus Incarnate~ (Poetry)

Here is one I really like, I encourage you to read it aloud.

 The picture is me dressed as a genie for Halloween one year.

Magus Incarnate

An oaken limb grafts the magus incarnate
And light cloaks this clairvoyant sentient.
Steadfastly beats the crestfallen heart
Where within, awaits the watcher of its gate.

Wizardly aura amidst depths now diffident,
Behind shadows darkness delved an art,
Still stalled until the weeper meditates,
Upon the spiritless throne, the king laments.

The mantled monarch's magic does impart
As slumbering soul awakens prostrate
Before sovereign solitude, minds consent
To reveal the signet of ones counterpart.

Wisdom written, etched staff, wielded adeptly,
Eliminates illusive entities of destruction.
The crown ascends beyond planes so subtly,
Into unconscious center circling in completion.

I have done many poems with this rhyme scheme and 16 lines. I created it years ago and it is a nice frame to put words into. This was written from 3 words a friend gave me, something I think I will start again soon. It personalizes poetry for someone. Thanks, Blessings!
