I like to sing, but...

I think I sing quite well, (Although it sounds like Hell).
I sing upon the beach, (It comes out like a screech).
I like to sing at night- It gives the kids a fright.
I sing when in the shower- My wife gives me a glower.
When gardening in my pants, I’m wilting all the plants.
I sing to snails and slugs- They pull in all their lugs.
I only want a chance, To terrify the ants.
I even sing alone, Or sitting on the ‘throne’.
I like to sing for me, Where no one else can see..
